Your Interests Are Making A Difference
Who, me? Are the differences affecting the way we live on this planet in a positive way? These are good questions that deserve a response!
Since wellness is a top priority for more of us than ever, and living in a sustainable way with our environment is vital to our health and our world, an important question today is — “what is the connection between our own wellness and the sustainable activities needed for the health of our environment?”
To start pondering these questions, it helps to know where we individually stand on the subject of wellness and the environment; and by taking the short self-survey found on the lower part of this page a reflection of your individual interests shows up.
Sustainable living empowers what is natural and energizing on the earth; and when we choose to, and actually do cooperate in this way with the needs of the land, water, air, plants, animals, and other human beings, it affects all of us.
Our interdependence is unmistakable, and it prompts questions about the best way to effectively participate; in fact, there are so many options that being clear on our own interests is helpful in discovering the actions that will be most beneficial.
Listed below are statements of possible interests within seven general clarifying categories. You are invited to identify which of the statements express your individual interests; once completed, you may tally them up and continue on to the Exploring section.

Exploring
Now that you have clarified your interests, this section has seven questions related to those same areas that invite you to recall what you currently do to optimize your interests. Each question is followed by a space to answer and then an excerpt from the book, Soul Talk With Cells: What We Really Want Is To Play, in order to offer information that may be helpful and that integrates holistically with both wellness and sustainable living.
Your participation in this exploration is very much invited, welcome, and appreciated.
What is your understanding about cells as the starting point for health?
Answer here:__________________________________________________________
From Soul Talk With Cells —
“The easiest cells to see as a group and touch with our hands are those in the form of skin; and skin is the largest organ of the body. Microscopic cells have first formed together into a specific type of tissue; and then similar types of tissue have formed into the organ, which in this case is called the skin. This is the same way all organs are formed, like the heart, lungs, bones, muscles, and others.”
What is your grocery shopping approach?
Answer here:__________________________________________________________
From Soul Talk With Cells —
“With the numerous activities and distractions of our busy lives, we often opt for convenience simply because it is easier, and yet, the responsibility for eating what we truly want among all the offerings is ours alone. It helps to know the value differences between foods, and because food origins and the contents of combination foods change, staying informed about products is essential.”
What is your approach to nutritional supplement purchases?
Answer here:__________________________________________________________
From Soul Talk With Cells —
“Most products in the industry are not backed with the confidence that they are providing the basic needs of cells for their health ………………..However, there are scientists available who focus directly on providing cells with the nutrient formulations shown by the cells themselves to be a combination on which they thrive.”
What do you do to exercise your body?
Answer here:__________________________________________________________
From Soul Talk With Cells —
“During exercise, the needs of cells change, and depending on the amount of exercise, their needs usually increase……………… It is essential to work appropriately with the body. In extreme sports, nutritional modifications must be calculated very particularly to match performance needs.”
What is your approach to relationships both with yourself and others?
Answer here:__________________________________________________________
From Soul Talk With Cells –
“Awareness that relations with myself were fundamental to buiding relations with others, prompted me to experiment a little…………….. Although this was a new discovery for me, it really is a principle that has been around for a long time; and certainly, it makes perfect sense that we can only give away what we already have.”
What are the ways you show appreciation for your knowledge?
Answer here:__________________________________________________________
From Soul Talk With Cells –
“Being in control of this innate guidance system for my own life, making individual choices for my being in this way, remains to this day, a gift for which I am immeasurably grateful; and it enhances my intention and willingness to extend similar awareness and opportunity to others.”
What is your approach to being creative in your work situation?
Answer here:__________________________________________________________
From Soul Talk With Cells –
“Playing life’s game with skill is admirable, and it happens more easily when we love what we are doing. The quality of our work is higher because our hearts and passions are present. Team members working together, in harmony, toward goals have a synergy that benefits everyone, including each other. By extension, the presence of harmony affects the individual cells of the body, the body as a whole, other individuals, families, communities, and even the universe.”
